Rick Ogle, University of Colorado

Ogle was born and raised in Bozeman, graduating from Bozeman High School in 1967. He attended the University of Colorado, playing linebacker for the Buffaloes from 1968-70. He was selected by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 11th round of the 1971 NFL Draft, appearing in six games, five as a starter. In September 1972, Ogle was traded to the Detroit Lions, where he appeared in four games. Ogle ranks 27th in Montana on the all-time list of Treasure State players who went on to the NFL.
