Tony Boddie, Montana State University
A standout running back at Montana State from 1979-82, Boddie ended his career as the school’s sixth all-time leading rusher with 2,449 yards. His professional career began with the Los Angeles Express in the USFL. In three seasons, Bodie rushed for 642 yards and four touchdowns. He joined the Denver Broncos in 1986 but appeared in just one game. In 1987, he played five games for Denver, scoring his only NFL touchdown in a Week 13 win over the New England Patriots. Boddie also appeared in all three postseason games, serving as a pregame captain in the Broncos’ Super Bowl loss to Washington. A back injury ended his NFL career in 1988.
